Marcel Collet startete 1925 gemeinsam mit Jean Porporato beim 24-Stunden-Rennen von Le Mans. Der eingesetzte Werks-D.F.P. VA blieb vor dem ersten Boxenstopp ohne Benzin auf der Strecke liegen.
